Please note that you must complete Volunteer Training and our Volunteer Screening Policy requires background checks of all Volunteers for the protection of our Neighbors. You will need to print and fill out the consent forms and mail or bring them to the ICCI Office.

Volunteer Opportunities
Rides
Volunteers provide rides to Neighbors in their own vehicles to medical and dental appointments, grocery shopping and other errands.
Phone Checks
Volunteers check in by phone with Neighbors who are isolated and benefit from companionship.
Serve on a Committee
Volunteers serve on the Nominating, Fundraising, Public Relations, Volunteer, and the Finance Committees.
Errands
Volunteers run errands for Neighbors who are unable to get them done on their own.
Help with the Newsletter
Volunteers help with the creation, writing and distribution of ICCI’s quarterly newsletter.

How do I sign up to be a volunteer?

Do you have a time commitment?
We ask that Volunteers try to commit to volunteering at least eight hours a month.
Do you reimburse me for mileage?
Yes! We will reimburse you for miles driven.
Can I choose when I Volunteer?
Yes, you will have access to a database that lists the request for help. You may select any of the rides that fit your schedule. The majority of the services are conducted during the week from 9am to 3pm.
