Join us to celebrate National Senior Citizen’s Day on August 21, 2021! In 1988, President Ronald Reagan signed Proclamation 5847 to recognize seniors for their achievement in promoting families, their communities and the country. This remains true today and affords us the opportunity to reserve a special day to celebrate our seniors. National Senior Citizen’s Day recognizes seniors who have spent their lives contributing to the stabilization and prosperity of our nation and making an impact on everyone’s lives for the better.

Interlakes Community Caregivers would like to not only celebrate our seniors, but thank them for the many contributions they have made to our freedom and livelihood. Now more than ever, as seniors lead longer, more productive lives, we need to honor them and demonstrate gratitude for their vision and work over the past decades.
