(July 17, 2020 – Moultonborough, NH.)  Interlakes Community Caregivers, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has recently received a generous grant award for COVID-19 Crisis Support from the Bald Peak Community Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.  a donor-advised fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.

“Interlakes Community Caregivers is extremely grateful for the generosity of the Bald Peak Community Fund during this difficult time    Their support is very timely because ICCI never stopped providing services during the pandemic, but we had to cancel all of our fundraising events for the rest of the year,” stated Rachel Saliba, ICCI Executive Director.

Throughout the pandemic, Interlakes Community Caregivers’ Volunteers have been picking up groceries and vital prescriptions for our Neighbors and have also been taking them to critical medical appointments as offices have reopened.  All of the Volunteers and Neighbors have been following health officials’ guidelines to protect themselves and others from infection.

Interlakes Community Caregivers, Inc. (ICCI) is a nonprofit volunteer organization that provides rides and other support services free of charge to assist Neighbors in their daily lives.  For over 20 years, ICCI has served the residents of  Meredith, Center Harbor, Moultonborough, and Sandwich to help them remain independent and in their own homes whether for a short-term period to recuperate from an illness or injury or to age in place for a longer, ongoing need.  ICCI relies on donations, fundraising events and grant awards such as this.

The Bald Peak Community Fund was founded in 2002 with the intent to give support to their neighbors and communities in need of essential services.  Funds are raised from the members of the Bald Peak Colony Club and friends who value the rural environment of the Lakes Region, and who are pleased to lend support to the maintenance of that lifestyle.
