Interlakes Community Caregivers raised almost $8,000 at its 8th Annual MiniGolf Tournament held at Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf in Meredith on September 8th. 

“We are grateful for the generosity of our sponsors, donors, teams and volunteers!” said Ann Sprague, Executive Director. “Fundraisers such as this annual event allow us to offer our services free of charge.”

Congratulations to the Tournament Trophy Winners in the five categories awarded.  Moultonborough Academy Volleyball Team won Team with the Lowest Score.  Their team member Maddie Perrotti won both Individual awards for Lowest Score and Most Holes in One. Newfound Regional Volleyball Team won Team Most Holes in One.  Mackie’s Team, made up of members of the Moultonborough Women’s Club in honor of iconic Community Caregivers volunteer Mackie Heinrich, won the Team Spirit Award.  Each individual player received an engraved trophy.
Winner of the Golf Ball Raffle was Darlene Fritz of Moultonborough.  The Vizio 50” SmartCast TV prize was generously donated by dbImagine, a consumer electronics distribution company in Moultonborough, NH.

Community Caregivers would like to thank the over 40 businesses, civic groups and individuals who supported the event this year, particularly the lead sponsors: Electrical Installations, Inc., McCarthy Lawn Property Management, Shep Brown’s Boat Basin, DAK Financial Group, East Coast Foundation, Interlakes Animal Hospital, Interlakes Family Dental Center, Meadow Pond Animal Hospital, and Moulton Farm.

Community Caregivers is grateful to Ben & Jerry’s of Meredith for donating ice cream sundaes provided to all team members and volunteers and CG Roxane for bottled water to keep everyone hydrated.  Special thanks to Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf for hosting the event this year.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 27th for the Community Caregivers Harvest Hoe Down at Waukewan Golf Course beginning at 6:30pm featuring music, food and door prizes. Tickets are now on sale at $35 per person.
