Thank you to all of our Volunteers!

The following is a Letter to the Editor, from the ICCI Executive Director, Ann Sprague:

April 12th, 2018

During National Volunteer Week, I’d like to publicly thank all our Volunteers at Interlakes Community Caregivers.
As we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of our founding this year, I’d like to first recognize those Volunteers who started Community Caregivers in the basement of the Center Harbor Congregational Church back in 1998. Thank you also to the hundreds of women and men who have donated their time and talent over the past twenty years who have gotten us to where we are today.
Thank you to our 72 currently active Volunteers.  Those who drive our neighbors to their medical appointments and provide other direct services and make a difference in the lives of our neighbors daily.  Those who volunteer “behind the scenes” on a committee, at an event, stuffing envelopes or putting up posters support the organization and keep our overhead down.
Thousands of individuals served and their families supported over these twenty years are grateful.  The almost 300 neighbors we currently serve are grateful, too, and regularly tell me about our Volunteers’ caring nature, compassion and enthusiasm.
Thank you, Community Caregivers Volunteers, for answering the phone calls, responding to the emails and signing up for services.  We couldn’t do it without you!

Sincerely,

Ann W. Sprague
